Certification

How Mairit certifies legal translations in the UAE

The workflow combines online document handling and technology-assisted preparation with review and certification by a UAE MoJ-licensed legal translator.

1. Mairit manages the request

Mairit is operated by Humai FZCO, registered in DMCC, Dubai, with its office in Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT). Mairit is a legal translation technology company. Its platform connects each document directly to a network of UAE Ministry of Justice licensed sworn translators and manages the job from quote to delivery, which is why certified translation through Mairit is faster and costs less.

2. You send the documents online

Documents can be sent by WhatsApp or email. Clear scans and photos are sufficient for the initial review and quote.

3. The workflow prepares a draft

Mairit's systems can help organise files and prepare translation work. Technology supports speed and consistency; it does not issue the legal certification.

4. A licensed translator reviews it

The assigned MoJ-licensed legal translator checks names, dates, amounts, legal meaning, omissions and document structure against the source.

5. The translator certifies it

The licensed sworn translator signs and applies the MoJ stamp to every page under Federal Decree-Law No. 22 of 2022 Regulating the Translation Profession. Certification is issued by that licensed translator, not by software.

6. It is prepared for the intended authority

Certified translations are prepared for Dubai Courts, the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD), Sharjah and RAK courts, federal courts including the Federal Supreme Court, notary publics, DED/DET, DLD, MoHRE, GDRFA, ICP, ADGM, DIFC and free zone authorities. Tell us the destination so the translation matches its requirements.

7. Turnaround is confirmed

Suitable English-Arabic work can be delivered as fast as 6 hours. Larger, complex or difficult-to-read files can require more time.

8. Pricing is confirmed before work

English to Arabic and Arabic to English translation costs AED 15 to 45 per page; the more pages, the closer to AED 15. Other languages, out of the 65 we translate, cost AED 45 to 100+ per page. You get the exact price before work starts.

9. Your documents are protected

Mairit's controls are audited to SOC 2 Type II, documents are handled in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), and customer documents are never used to train AI models.

10. How to check a stamped translation

Each certified page carries the translator's stamp and signature. The UAE Ministry of Justice lists licensed legal translators on its official website, so you or the receiving authority can confirm that the translator is licensed.

Frequently asked questions

Who certifies a Mairit legal translation?

Certification is issued by the assigned UAE Ministry of Justice licensed legal translator under their own professional responsibility and registration.

Does Mairit guarantee acceptance by every authority?

No. We prepare the translation for the intended workflow, but acceptance and supporting-document requirements remain subject to the receiving court, notary or authority.

Is technology used for certified translation?

Mairit may use its own systems to prepare and manage the workflow. A licensed human translator reviews, corrects and certifies the final translation.

How long does certification take?

Suitable English-Arabic work can be completed as fast as 6 hours. The confirmed turnaround depends on document length, complexity, quality and translator availability.
